With onboard massage services, a hot tub, incredible food and cabins that have their own private baths, Odyssey is the most luxurious liveaboard on the Red Sea.
Whilst this does mean that Odyssey is also one of the most expensive Red Sea liveaboards; for those who can afford it the luxury feels are second to none.
Trips are available to the off-the-beaten-track South Region where sharks and mantas await or the more famous North Region renowned for shipwrecks.
Most trips last 7 nights but on certain months of the year (usually August), it’s also possible to go on huge 14 night long dive safaris.
At 131 feet (40 meters) long, Odyssey is the largest Red Sea liveaboard out there; taking a maximum of 26 guests.
Up on the top deck there’s a huge sundeck with partial shading and a hot tub from which to soak in the incredible views. Only a very few Red Sea liveaboards have hot tubs!
Lower down, on the upper deck is a very spacious outdoor lounge with shading, plenty of sun loungers and more epic views.
Then on the main deck is the bar and outdoor dining area; this leads out to the very well equipped and spacious dive deck – and also leads into the aircon saloon with plasma TV and bar.
All cabins offer ocean views, aircon…and as well as showers they also have private baths! No other Red Sea liveaboard has cabins with private baths!
Odyssey is also one of the very few liveaboards where guests can enjoy massages and other spa treatment.
The food is incredible; a delicious mixture of local Egyption and international cuisine; expertly cooked, prepared and presented.
Staff are all fantastic with highly experienced dive guides and incredibly attentive, friendly boat crew.
Odyssey may be expensive compared to other Red Sea liveaboards – but the perks of this luxury diving yacht – massages, hot tub, private bath cabins and excellent service, make it well worth it.
“Excellent guides with a good sense of humor, giving very good and detailed briefings. We got to see some of the best locations in St. Johns, with a bonus visit at Elfinstone reef, as well as snorkling with dolphins. Well kept modern boat with excellent kitchen, nice and big cabins. Very happy with the experience and would not hesitate to go again”.
