When it comes to amenities, extra services and fun activities; few luxury komodo liveaboards can rival Tiare Cruise!
Best of all, the itineraries are totally different – you can choose to explore all of komodo, hone in on a specific region; or combine discovering komodo with other parts of nearby Indonesia.
Great for: Amenities, Extra Activities, Unique Routes, Family Cabins, Couples, friends,
Trip Lengths: 6 – 12
Max Group Size: 14
Operates: May – September (In other parts of Indonesia for rest of year)
Generally, there’s 4 routes available:
Additional activities on every trip include welcome cocktails, a beach bbq, kayaking, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, massage services and land excursions and usually a trek to witness the komodo dragons up close!
For maximum convenience, each diver gets their own personal diving station with personal storage, plus access to hot showers on the dive deck. You’ll also get issued an “enos” beacon for added safety precautions
There’s a dedicated camera room for underwater photographers and this is comprised of multiple charging stations and camera benches.
Double, twin and triple cabin options are available and all feature ensuite bathrooms, complimentary toiletries and fresh drinking water.
These cabins have a very nice wooden interior, although they do only have porthole views, which can leave a little to be desired, when you think of liveaboards like Coralia and Gaia Love, which both have private balconies.
Then again, most of your time will hopefully not be spent cooped up in your cabin!
With a drink in hand, guests can unwind on the spacious sundeck or the partially shaded “bow lounge”, which is outfitted with comfortable furniture and offers superb views.
There’s also an air conditioned indoor lounge with an ice machine, coffee machine, herbal tea station, juice extractor, drinks fridge and even a red and white wine cellar as well a free internet and video & audio entertainment with a large plasma tv.
Meals are freshly prepared and consist of a wide variety of local gourmet cuisine and international dishes.
Tiare cruise really does have it all when it comes to amenities, extra activities and varied trips. It’d be nice if some of the cabins had better ocean views, but this is the soul area in which this liveaboard is lacking. In all other areas Tiare; and her spectacular crew excel.
“Too many highlights. Relaxed holiday with range of 2 to 4 dives per day combined with onshore activities including some hard (staired) climbs for amazing views, a trip to Jellyfish lake and culminating on a wonderful dinner on the beach.
The diving was simply more than I imagined – frequent mantas, large schools of fish, octopus, endless soft and hard corals healthier than anywhere I have been, and amazing night dive at Sapokreng – the flamboyant cuttlefish! Mixed nationality passengers made for interesting conversations – a wonderful trip. Will definitely try to go again”!
