Dayung Baru is a mid-priced Komodo liveaboard that takes just 6 guests for a more intimate, personalised experience.
Having such a small group size also makes this a great liveaboard for underwater photographers due to small dive groups – plus there is a dedicated camera station.
Great for: Small Groups, Intimate Experience, Underwater Photographers
Trip Length: 3 – 7 Nights
Max Guests: 6
On Ecopro Dahyung Baru there are just 3 cabins, catering to a maximum of 6 guests – two of these cabins are doubles whereas the other is a twin and all have very nice interiors, ac and ensuite bathrooms; albeit no windows.
However, the stunning views of Komodo can be easily enjoyed from the sundeck – or the partially shaded outdoor loung which leads into the air-conditioned indoor salon with and Video & Audio Entertainment.
There’s also kayaks on board as well as free internet and a well stocked book shelf. Because it’s recommended that divers come aboard with their advanced open water cert and at least 30 logged dives; Duyung Baru is mostly aimed towards experienced divers.
The dedicated camera station features multiple charing points as well as separate rinse basins for multiple underwater cameras.
An experienced and friendly crew are on hand to attend to every one of your needs and in the hearty kitchen, fresh food is prepared all day; consisting of Indonesian cuisine with Western flavours.
“Diving was outstanding, Vovo has his secret (world class) spots where nobody else dives and knows the ocean perfectly. He will bring you to the best spots at the best times, also trying to avoid other divers!
The boat is amazing and everyone is very friendly, Yani is the best and kindest, and also an outstanding cook. The boat itself is great and the cabins are the best in any liveaboard I have ever done, particularly at that price point.
Let alone that it only caters to 6 guests, which makes for a much better experience. Truly a luxury boat for a very good price. I could not recommend it more”.
